To address the growing demands for high efficiency and increased power density in auxiliary power supplies for Major Home Appliances (MHA) and AI Server applications, Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) flyback converters have gained significant attention due to their exceptional performance in terms of efficiency, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation, and reliability. This paper presents two exemplary auxiliary power supply designs, one tailored for MHA and the other for AI Server applications, both of which leverage Infineon's ZVS flyback solution. By implementing this solution, both designs achieve substantial reductions in switching losses, resulting in efficiency exceeding 94.3% for MHA and 93.2% for AI server.
