This paper presents a 60 W single-stage flyback converter designed for a 90–670 VAC input, utilizing a 1700 V GaN switch with adaptive zero voltage switching (ZVS). By eliminating DC-DC post regulators, the design achieves better than ±1% regulation accuracy while enhancing efficiency, thermal performance, and EMI. The adaptive ZVS control scheme dynamically adjusts the synchronous rectifier (SR) operation to minimize switching losses in the high-voltage GaN primary switch. Experimental results confirm these characteristics. This work highlights the suitability of 1700 V GaN technology for highvoltage, multi-output power supplies in industrial applications.
