This paper proposes an isolated bi-directional grid-connected micro-inverters for solar power and battery energy storage applications based on constant gain series resonant converter (SRC). The resonant converter is designed to always operates at its resonant frequency. This configuration features high efficiency and ease in circuit parameter design and control. A 1000 W hardware prototype is designed and tested. The performance of the inverter is validated by experimental results.
