The fast-charging station is designed for simultaneous recharging up to three electric vehicles. It contains 6 power units, and 36 output contactors, which are connected to three connection sockets. An algorithm for connecting the power units to connection sockets is proposed. It takes into account the specified current consumption limit and ensures uniform charging of the power units. This algorithm minimizes charge duration of two or three connected electric vehicle. EHS-EDISON-150 charging station has been manufactured using the proposed algorithm. This paper is of interest to professionals who are developing fast charging stations for city infrastructure that has a current consumption limit.
