Inhalt:
In this paper, an innovative galvanically isolated rectifier is proposed, analysed, and tested. The proposed system features power factor correction, galvanic isolation, high efficiency and a more compact build. The operating principle and models are presented, and key equations are derived. To validate the concept, a simulation model and a hardware prototype are developed. The control strategy is implemented on a microcontroller to regulate output voltage, to manage the freewheeling paths of the pulse transformer and to establish power factor correction.
