Inhalt:
Due to high control qualities, easy installation processes and low maintenance electromagnetic linear direct drives are often used for the uniaxial positioning of objects. In the case of moderately dynamic vertical position control, the main part of the required force serves to counteract the static weight of the positioning object. This paper presents the concept development of an integrative design of a miniaturized electric linear drive with an outer diameter of ≤ 5 mm, including a passive permanent magnetic weight compensation.
