Environmental monitoring applications often face the challenge of creating sensor systems that are waterproof, durable and sustainable for long-term use. Conventional methods to address these requirements typically demand substantial resources and come with various drawbacks. This paper presents a simple yet effective solution primarily intended for prototypes, involving the fabrication of a hard polymer casing and polydimethylsiloxane enclosures.
