The variety and complexity of WiMAX network access data are increasing. Traditional access data models can not apply to the performance of WiMAX network, which will greatly confine the research of network bandwidth and the satisfaction degree of user's QoS. Therefore, a novel access data model is studied. Firstly, by analyzing the characteristics of all-IP communication network and broadband access technology, the topological structure of network is researched in this paper. Secondly, by analyzing the characteristics of each access service in the topological structure and the functions of network protocol, the access data characteristics of network service are studied. Then, a novel access data model of WIMAX network is established by considering the access process and the self-similar characteristic synthetically. Finally, the correctness of the novel access data model is verified by simulating. The novel access data model can provide the theoretical support for optimizing WiMAX network bandwidth and predicting network QoS in advance.
