Inhalt:
Network QoS prediction enables campus networks to provide notifications about predicted dynamic QoS changes to the network as well as to interested services or applications, which can proactively adapt their behavior and take corrective measures. In this demonstration, we will show how 5G QoS prediction can be utilized to optimize the placement of a positioning application in a 5G campus environment. Namely, a vision-based positioning application that can be either executed onboard an automated guided vehicle or offloaded to an edge cloud. The demonstration runs in a real production factory, which is equipped with a 5G standalone network.
